Edward Hopkins has established a reputation for designing and building some of London’s smartest gardens. Edward began his career working as a trader in the European and Asian wholesale plant and cut flower market. Based at New Covent Garden Market, he gained unrivalled knowledge of commercially produced stock and developed a keen interest in specimen plants.

As a freelance horticulturalist during this time he designed and installed seasonal displays for The Dorchester Hotel, The Hilton Group and Fortnum & Mason’s amongst others. His landscape career truly began when he was appointed Landscape Foreman at Clifton Nurseries in Little Venice where his projects included Kensington Palace and Highgrove House and many show gardens for Chelsea.

Edward began his own company in 1999 and quickly earned his reputation as a modern British designer with a practical and efficient approach. Having created over two hundred gardens, he remains passionate about his field and continues to deliver a wholly personal service.
